You have the chance to acquire a legend of off-road history.
This is the first expansion stage of the XT500 and from this model Yamaha has already made some improvements.
The vehicle was forgotten for decades and wasn’t moved. The previous owner, who bought it in 1980, has sadly passed away.
The vehicle is still largely original and still has its first paint job.
We overhauled the carburettors and replaced the engine oil. And tried to start it.
It runs great, as you would expect. Also the electric works.
All keys available.
Of course, after such a long service life, all worn parts have to be replaced.
The underrun protection is also still in place
