19th Century gold glasses in leather case. Unlike most gold glasses, these glasses are made in its entirety of 14 carat gold. Usually only the nose clip is made of gold but with these glasses the whole frame is made of 14 carat gold. In several places (rods and nose clip) is hallmarked with the old Dutch oak leaf which stands for 14 carat gold. This old Dutch gold mark was used between 1853 and 1906. The glasses are in its original leather case decorated with a gold application (misses a piece) Glasses have a width of 10.7 cm. Weight is 15.8 grams. Both the fully golden frame and the glasses are in perfect condition without damage. Fully golden glasses in this particularly beautiful and intact condition are extremely rare and are rarely offered. Will be shipped by registered mail.
