Nice sample of real Woolly Mammoth fur in a display frame. Great sample from the dense woolly fur, and samples from the tough outer fur (thick hairs, very elephant like). Great colour!
Collected from the permafrost in Siberia. Global warming is causing permafrost to melt. This fur sample has been collected by tusk hunters in Nizhny Novgorod and has been send to me.
There are some inclusions from the environment this animal has lived in all these time ago.
Auction includes fur sample and display frame.
